About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Hand prune bushes and trees up to 20' above the ground.
- May occasionally use hedge trimmer, and will go back and properly cut any bigger branches.
- Support tree crews as needed.
- Load, drive and empty dump trucks with manual (stick) transmission.
- Operate loaders as needed.
- Support climbers.
- Operate chippers.
- Drive and dump chip trucks.
- Operate a chainsaw.
- Drive trucks to dump wood.
- Will sometimes have to drag brush - no one here is too good to do this job.
Qualifications:
- Must understand proper pruning techniques. We are a tree company and you will be expected to prune like an arborist. This will be verified during interview.
- Must have good driving record and be approved by our insurance company.
- Must be able to drive a truck with a manual transmission.
- Must pass drug screen.
